KARL DROPS OUT!

I would like to thank everyone that helped with the campaign but I believe it is time for me to find other things to do.

I had a good showing in Iowa even though it was organized to prevent unknowns from having any impact.  I only got on the ballot in Arizona and got 243 votes.  I was disappointed until I saw Mike Gravel a former senator from Alaska got 275.  Not a single newspaper, radio or TV talked to me during the Arizona campaign.  The biggest disappointment was the Teamsters not doing a news story in the Teamster magazine.  My employer (Yellow Roadway) not putting a item in the company newsletter was also a disappointment.

Many good things came from the campaign.  JW Kern who picked up the load of the web site was a great asset to the campaign.  He is truly a great guy. The trucking Bozo and Dave Nemo had some great radio shows and I will leave them on my site for a while for those that want to hear them.  Of course Steven Mackay at Overdrive Magazine did a great story and it is greatly appreciated.  I hope the drivers out there now think of politics differently.  That was one of my aims. 

Please note that everything I predicted in the early part of my campaign has come to pass.  It would help a lot to have a President that could foresee the future to some extent.  It is no great feat, just look around.

Isn't It About Time For A Change? 

Karl Krueger has announced his candidacy for the  presidential nomination on the Democratic ticket in 2008.  Karl is currently employed by Yellow-Roadway Corporation out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

“I intend to put this nation on a course to be energy independent within 10 years of my election.  After all, John Kennedy took us to the moon and back in 10 years with technology that didn’t exist when he began, it should not be too difficult for us to become energy independent in the same amount of time using technology that we already have.”  Krueger is the founder of Energy Initiative, an alternative energy group that was the genesis of many of the alternative energy projects we see today.

“It was a strategic objective of the Allies to shut off the oil supply to Germany and Japan when we defeated them in World War II.   Now we put ourselves in a position that we could have our oil supply cut as well,” said Krueger.

Other candidates tell you they are for alternative energy, but do they have a plan to get there?

There is an immediate need for funds in the Krueger campaign. It takes money to establish and organize the staff to coordinate his Internet campaign.   Please remember, Karl wants you to limit your contributions to $50.  By limiting contributions Karl intends to take the money influence out of the White House!
